So here’s the deal…

Hi I’m Meg — a yachtie, writer, professional side-quester, and part-time overthinker with a full-time commitment to doing the most in situations that absolutely do not require it.

I somehow ended up working in the yachting industry, which is equal parts glamorous, exhausting, and borderline absurd. Most of my days involve being in beautiful places while also being slightly confused, mildly sleep-deprived, and trying to remember where I last put my AirPods. It’s a very specific lifestyle.

At some point, I realized my brain basically operates like a junk drawer — full of random thoughts, pop culture opinions, half-finished ideas, travel chaos, books I’m obsessed with (or suddenly hate), and things I probably should’ve kept to myself but didn’t. So instead of organizing it, I just… leaned in.

“The Junk Drawer” is exactly that. It’s where everything goes. There’s no rules, no real structure, and no promise that one page will have anything to do with the next (continuity hates to see me coming). One day it might be a deep dive on a TV show, the next it’s a story from work that sounds fake but isn’t, and then maybe a life realization I had at the worst possible time.

I don’t have a master plan, a calendar, or any real qualifications to be doing this. I just have thoughts. A lot of them.

So this is where they live now.

Welcome to The Junk Drawer.
